Southern Apple Crisp

I like this served hot with vanilla icecream

4 C. thinly sliced apples

1/2 C. packed brown sugar

2 Tbsp. lemon juice

1 C. Bisquick

3/4 C. sugar

1 Tbsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter, melted

3/4 tsp. cinnamon

1. Mix apples, brown sugar and lemon juice. Arrange in a shallow baking dish. 2. Mix Bisquick, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add egg and mix.Pour over apples. 3. Drizzle melted butter over topping and sprinkle with cinnamon. 4. Bake the apple crisp in a 350-degree oven for 35 minutes.
